Sun in CaK / White Light With Explore Scientific AR152 Refractor + Lunt CaK filter or Baader Wedge Uploaded 6/12/16 Daily Report For Saturday Aug 28, 2021
Really nice unusual sunspot group today with lots of detail. Seeing was 2-3 and varied a lot due to monsoon unsteady air. I was able to get some good shots early this morning while the seeing was at its best for thes shots. They are all with the Explore Scientific AR152 strapped onto the same mount as the 10 inch.
Images below are 1024 wide and non clickable

 WHITE LIGHT:

Lets start with white light, prime focus with the six inch. You can see how interesting the larger group is!

With the 5x televue powermate, and 2400 frames to work with, I was able to get a very high resolution today by stacking 25 frames.

In Calcium K light using a Lunt B600 filter (and lots of flat fielding) the area is amazing.

The other small spot group looks pretty good in Calcium K as well.
