Sun in Hydrogen Alpha
With Coronado 40
Uploaded 10/3/11
This
is my first try at a total hydrogen alpha disk composite with
the entire disk shown. This composite consists of 18 sub frames,
each 1024 x 768 in size with our Image Source DMK camera. Details
include the huge sunspot group AR1302 to the right of center
which flared repeatedly in late September and produced many Auroras
in the north. It is still flaring mildly in this image. |
