Feb 2 - Sedona Half Marathon
We both did this excellent race, had perfect weather too!
Feb 8 - Sprouts Mesa Half Marathon (Only)
Both of us this is one of our favorites due to the great organisation and finish line accolades.
Feb 16 - Lost Dutchman Half Marathon
Both of us did this superb race, the last one for a while.
The Cottonwood and Whiskey Row half marathons were canceled or deffered until furthur notice.

We spent a week on the island before this event, and ended our vacation with this "Destination Race". It was really hot and humid, and while the race started early at sunup it was near 80 allready, and over 90% humidity! Running 13 miles through black rock along the highway was not a pleasant experience for me, and I cant imagine running the full marathon on this race. We both made it through the event in fine shape, and it certainly helped running every morning at sunrise in Kona to get ready for this event. Dawn did the 10k while I did the Half. Packet Pickup at the Resort:

An amazing day for a Marathon! I ran the full, and Dawn racewalked the 10k. It was cold at the start, but the stars were out and a fabulous golden sunrise. You just cant ask for a better race! Photos:

A cool and cloudy day, but the rain did not fall, and we had a great time once again at this event. Huge record attendance again this year, and it seems this is one of the races that just keeps on getting larger. Photos:

We had amazing weather this year, not too hot and only a bit cold at the start. I did the half, and Dawn race walked the 10k. This is the largest race of the year for us, with over 20,000 runners. Photos: Entering the Expo
