M5 Globular Cluster in Serpens Orion 8" f/4 Astrograph

 There are few rich globulars in the sky that inspire as much as this one, this brilliant object with tens of thousands of mostly blue super giant stars also contains a sizable amount of orange super giants as well. The 8 inch did well on this one, reaching magnitude 17 in a 15 minute exposure near the zenith.
