The Eagle nebula in Serpens
Uploaded 8/24/19
One of the last
few major objects in the Summer sky I had not done yet with the
8 inch astrograph. This 30 minutes set was under unusually clear
skies for the Monsoon Season. Sky meter read 21.7 at the zenith.

Instrument: 8" f/3.9 Orion Astrograph Newtonian with Baader MPCC
Mount: Home made GEM with Byers Starmaster Drive
Camera: Canon XTi DSLR modified by Hutech for full spectrum
Guider: Meade DSI Pro w/60mm piggyback refractor
Exposure: 30 mins total
Location: Happy Jack, Arizona, Elevation: 6800 ft.
Sky: Seeing FWHM = 2 arcsec , Transparency 7/10
Outside Temperature: 58 F
