Mars Images

Sony CCD chip in Phillips Vesta Cam Pro

Uploaded 11/1/05

This is my first attempt of this years apparition of Mars, now subtending 19.5 arcseconds. Images were extracted with Registax from about a thousand separate frames over a trio of 20 second recording times. This is about as good seeing as we get here in Payson, at the foothills of the Mogollon Rim.
