The sun Today had a very unusual "Rocket Prominence" on the limb, and a plethora of small sunspots with white faculae surrounding them. It was a very exciting day for solar observers! Seeing was awsome, and the detail in the solar granulation beat anything Ive done so far from Scottsdale.

Processing: Extracted disk from green channel, prominences from red channel, and averaged 2 to8 images. Applied midtone curve adjustment in PS, then wavlet deconvolution, and dynamic background flattening process in Pix Insight. Combined and colorized disk and prominence image in Photoshop per accepted standard coloration creteria.
