 The sun today had a rather featureless disk, one tiny area to the extreme upper left showing some faculae. The real attraction was the giant floating prominence on the lower right, it was raining down bright pieces as well. Not to bad for solar minimum!

Processing: Extracted disk from green channel, prominences from red channel, and averaged 2 to8 images. Applied midtone curve adjustment in PS, then wavlet deconvolution, and dynamic background flattening process in Pix Insight. Combined and colorized disk and prominence image in Photoshop per accepted standard coloration creteria.
