Comet C/2014 Q2 Lovejoy
in the Evening sky
Feb 7, 2015

The head of this comet is huge, occupying nearly the entire frame of my 12.5" scope! The comet continues its very faint low surface brightness tail, making processing a challenge to retain all features. An excellent comet for the binoculars now, it is not visible easily naked eye in Andromeda.
