Comet Olbers 13p
Faint Comet in Lynx
Uploaded 8/26/24

Here is the close approach of Comet Olbers with the Black eye galaxy M64. The comet is visible for about 90 minutes low in the western sky after sunset. In binoculars, it was only a fuzzy patch but clearly in the RASA was a very nice object. Look at that big yellow dust fan pointing downwards! On the lower right is the galaxy. You can just resolve the dark eye at this scale.
