Comet Finlay 15P
in the Evening sky
January 24th, 2015
This
9th magnitude object was faintly visible in the finder, but still
almost invisible in the 8 inch with a wide field eyepiece. Surprisingly,
the coma shows a nice green coloration and a beautiful fan tail.
It is high up in the western sky after sunset, some 35 degrees
up. | |
