 C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS

Another attempt this morning to see the comet before it vanishes into the perihelion solar glare in a few days. The issue of thin stratus clouds and fire smoke continue and prevent any deep shots of this comet. Today, I did get lots of shots of part of the comet as it traversed the clouds, but nothing to really stack. The top image here was taken just after it rose and was still in the cloud deck. The reds on the horizon are fire smoke. The second image is a bit better, after it cleared the clouds but then was too light out to get any tail length. This is only a 15 second exposure. At least with f/2, you have a chance at getting something in short exposures! We keep trying...
