Comet 64P/ Swift-Gehrels
in the Evening sky
December 29, 2018
This
9th magnitude comet is well placed in the sky, however on this
evening the comet ran right over a bright star and complicated
processing. The results came out fine, and this stunning comet
has a rich teal color. This is a one hour integration in Luminance
and 12 minutes of color data with the 10 inch f/3.9 Orion Astrograph
and MPCC coma corrector with an ST10xme CCD. |
