Comet C/2019 U5 Panstarrs
in the Evening sky
April 15, 2023 8:15 pm

This is our first color shot of a comet with our new Atik 16200 CCD camera and Astronomik LRGB filters. This comet is currently at its peak brightness around 12th magnitude, and is low on the meridian at dark. It has a beautiful tail for such a faint comet, but only a dull yellow coloration. Notice the gorgeous tiny spiral galaxy on the right edge.
