Comet C/2025 Panstarrs R3
in the morning sky
3/26/26

This comet is now coming in and will peak in about two weeks to perhaps naked eye brightness. Currently is very low in the eastern sky before sunrise. Here is was bout 15 degrees up at the end of the shot sequence. Look closely at the tail, see the kinks? Those are disconnection events where the comet stops producing a tail for a few hours then resumes.
