Comet C/2021 A1 Leonard and Globular Cluster M3
in the morning sky
December 3, 2021
This
event was something that comet imagers yearn for - A close encounter
of a deep sky object with a bright comet. Not only is the event
challenging to capture and process, it offers an opportunity
to directly compare two deep space objects in the same field.
The comet is currently around 8th magnitude and racing towards
the eastern horizon into the Suns glare. Few days left to get
a clear shot of this stellar wind puff. |
