Comet C/2025 A6 Lemmon
in the Evening sky
10/23/25

Here is a new shot of Comet Lemmon from last night. this is a 2 part montage with the Samyang 135mm f/2 lens for about 45 mins total. What a surprise it was to have the airglow so strong last night that rolling bands of intense red and green were scrolling all over each subframe! You can imagine what the stacked set looked like, green and red mottles everywhere. By manually placing sample points very carefully with Graxpert, I was able to clean it up pretty well.
