Comet C/2025 Lemmon A6
in the morning sky
9/23/25

Now approaching the Sun and about 8th magnitude, Comet Lemmon A6 may put on a better show in mid october however the nearly full moon may be an issue. The tail is very low surface brightness and has little color. The coma however is a nice shade of green and is starting to ramp up in activity. This shot is with the RASA 8 on the balcony and consists of 53 one minute sub exposures stacked using the ASI2600MC camera.
