Comet C/2019 L3 Atlas in Gemini
in the evening sky
2/4/22

Now at 9th magnitude in central Gemini, this fan shaped comet sports a ray in the tail and some nice teal coloration. A bright stellar nucleus completes the scene. It is near peak brightness now and will be fading slowly from here on out.
