Comet 45P/Honda-Mrkos-Pajdusakova
in the Evening sky
March 19, 2017

This may be the last image of this comet I try to take. Now a very low surface brightness object in Leo, this very diffuse object is situated here in a horde of faint galaxies to magnitude 19. This was a very long set of exposures, totalling 2 hours of integration time. Luminance data was 90 minutes, and the RGB data on what is at best a colorless comet with the faintest of a teal hue was 30 minutes binned 2x2.
