Comet Catalina US10
in the morning sky
January 1, 2016
This
morning a special event for this comet - nearly on top of Arcturus,
an orange brilliant naked eye star. While the half moon nearby
created some unwanted loss of contrast, the comets twin tails
were evident in this long exposure image lasting nearly an hour. |
