The constellation of Orion is rich in red hydrogen nebula, as the image above shows clearly. Taken from our light polluted backyard in Payson, this image reveals the good recording power of the Supra 400 (non star burst) film as an excellent overall astro recording medium. Note that the large bubble at the top known as the Lambda Orionis Bubble is pinker than Barnards Loop seen left of center. A small tendril of nebulosity also extends from the top of Barnards loop toward the bright orange star Betelgeuse at the top.
