Deneb is the white supergiant at the lower left and centered is gamma cygni, surrounded by IC1318 and scattered tatters of hydrogen nebulosity. The red nebulous arc just above center on the left side of this image is the Cygnus Superbubble complex, a series of supernova reminants forming a region of fragmented nebulosity.
