This view, the same as my first image is without me in it, and shows the nearly stationary sigma Octans to the left, the south polar star and the Crux-Carina area to the right in the southern Milkyway. The scene is over the beach at low tide and finding a suitable surface for the tripod was a mushy proposition. Platform: Camera Tripod Film: Kodak PJ400 Exposure: 5 mins Filters: UV Location: Karumba, Queensland Australia Elevation: 0 ft Sky: Seeing 8/10, Transparency 8/10 Outside Temperature: 15 C Processing: Photoshop, PW Pro.
