Located only a few degrees from the more famous Bubble nebula, this detailed patch of nebulosity also bears the Sharpless Catalog designation 2-158, and spans 10 arc minutes in size. This complex contains numerous thin dark lanes and globules and appears to show more detail with increasing aperture photographically. Processing: Calibration in Maxim, Curves in PW Pro, Deconvolution in AIP, LRGB combine in PS7, and finally the unacceptable "salmon pink" obtained from RRGB combines was corrected to the correct reddish hue in Picture window pro 3. This is a VERY powerful technique for getting the final color balance in many shots corrected.
