Stephensen 1 Open Cluster
with NEXUS coma corrector
with 10" f/3.9 Astrograph @ f/2.9
Uploaded 9/30/24
This
rarely imaged cluster is one of the bright stars in the Lyra
constellation, and is always overlooked by imagers because of
the nearby more interesting objects. At 2.5 magnitude, this brilliant
cluster is sparse yet very colorful and makes for a splendid
imaging target on warm summer nights. |
