NGC281 Emission Nebula in Cassiopia
with NEXUS coma corrector
with 10" f/3.9 Astrograph @ f/2.9
Uploaded 1/10/24

Here is our latest shot of NGC281 in Cassiopiea to show the extensive outer nebulosity. Well over 10 hours with our 10 inch f/2.8 Astrograph, it not only reveals the wealth of dust lanes in the center, but on the left a few blue reflection nebula as well. The outer nebulosity is in the form of waves and ripples, and is concentric with the inner core of the nebula. Many golden and blue stars in the rich fall Milkyway fill the field, which is just over 2 degrees wide. Technical Data: 10" f/2.8 Newtonian Astrograph, 10h 15m total RRGB, Atik 16200 CCD, Payson, Az.
