NGC1333 in Perseus
in the evening sky in Perseus
1/15/26

Very dense clouds of interstellar dust pervade the constellation of Perseus. Here, a bright illuminated portion in the center is NGC1333 with deep red Herbig Haro objects just south. Note the interesting yellow reflection nebula to the upper right, that is LBN734. The entire field is filled with strands and patches of yellow to reddish dust, providing a unique enviornment for future star formation.
