M8-M20 two part panorama
with NEXUS coma corrector
with 10" f/3.9 Astrograph @ f/2.9
Uploaded 9/15/24

The incredible richness of the background nebulosity in this field is punctuated with the Trifid at the top and the Lagoon nebula at the bottom. This two part mosaic was taken with my 10 inch and a Nexus Coma corrector. That splashy open cluster at the top is M21 and note how the blue reflection component around M20 is quite extensive. Technical Data: 12.8 hours integration, 10" f/2.8 GSO Newtonian, Atik 16200 CCD, Payson Az.
