Antares to M4 nebulosities
with 10" f/2.9 Astrograph
Uploaded 6/11/23

This week I would like to share with you our first official posting of a color image with our new Starizona Nexus 0.75x Coma corrector, and our 10 inch f/3.9 and Atik 16200 CCD here in Arizona. It is a one hour RGB set with an effective focal ratio of f/2.9 and a field of 2.5 degrees. The Nexus is only designed to cover APS size chips, but by extremely accurate collimation of the 10 inch, we were able to successfully cover the full 36mm diagonal. The subject of course is Antares with its yellow reflection nebula, M4, NGC6144, and loads of background dust everywhere. We look forward in the future of sharing more work with this amazing accessory, and perhaps encourage some of you to take a close look at this product. Thanks for looking!
