M38 region in Auriga

This composition is certainly one of the most exciting and interesting fields I have ever imaged. Here in this incredible field we see rich star clusters with gold and blue supergiants, red and pink emission nebulas and sky blue reflection as well. This exact composition was carefully planned and executed to yeild this final result. On the right is M38 dominated by blue supergiants. Just right of center is NGC1907, a beautiful smaller cluster. The pink nebula on the left edge is IC417 with a single golden topaz colored star on its edge. And in the upper left corner is Sharpless 2-237 surrounding the cluster NGC1931. The entire field was surprising filled with glowing red hydrogen nebulosity. North is to the right here, as to fit all objects into the cameras rectangular profile.
