The Dumbbell Nebula in Vulpecula
with 10" f/3.9 Astrograph
Uploaded 10/09/22
This
is my deepest shot of the Dumbbell nebula M27 so far, a total
of nearly 14h integration time spread over 5 nights with Vulpecula
at the zenith. As seen here, the faint outer extremities of this
object far exceed what is normally recorded, it is essentially
an hourglass shaped object with the primary wings of the shape
on an East-West axis, and with the red hydrogen filling in the
gaps. |
