Barnard 86, NGC6520 & Globular Clusters Djorg 3, Djorg 2 in Sagittarius
with 10" f/3.9 Astrograph
Uploaded 8/10/23
This
extremely dense field which is looking in the direction of the
very center of our Milky Way galaxy reveals a bright star cluster
in the center of the field - NGC6520 accompanied on its right
by an inky black cloud of silicate dust cataloged as Barnard
86. To its left is the extremely dust dimmed globular cluster
Djorg 3, and on the right side a similarly dimmed globular cluster
is Djorg 2. Ive included a photo key below the main image to
show you where these are located. In addition, a very small planetary
nebula is on the lower left corner M1-37 which shows here as
a tiny pink disk. |
