Spring brings out many animals, but we only got one new bird this time, a Black Eyed Junco. However the Elk were back in small herds, and the Coyotes were seen both singly and in pairs this time many times. Enjoy the "Best Of" this past few months from our cabin in Happy Jack.

 Best Bunny: This was on the path from the front drive way to the front door of the house!
 
 Best Coyote: Many coyotes were seen this time, this one was in the daytime, which is rare for them.
 
 Best Deer: In the front yard, near a clearing two deer. The older buck is poking the younger one.
 
 Best Fox: All at night, this is in the back yard near the Observatory.
 
 Best Jackrabbit: On path to driveway again, about half the Jack Rabbits are nocturnal.
 
 Best Chipmunk: Ok, so they are very small! But we have so many shots of him running around the front yard that It was hard to choose.
 
 Best Elk: Big herd of Elk passed through and in the daytime!
 
 Best Raven: Ever present, they are so huge that can carry off small animals.
 Best Black Eyed Junco: Ok, not the best shot but our very first one.
 Best Pack Rat: This one lives in a wood pile on one edge of the lot, and shows up from time to time.
 Best Squrrell: Hundreds of shot of these, they seem to pose for the camera!
