More Lunar images with the Questar Uploaded 6/16/13 ![]()
This first set of images is at prime focus with the DMK51 camera. Exposure time at the native f/14 of the Questar was still relatively fast, on the order of 1/200 second and the seeing was poor but frozen here. The lighting was perfect for revealing the deep shadows near the terminator and a new perspective on normally flat lit features! All images reproduced here are reduced from the 1600 original size to 1290 long.

Here are a few shots with the barlow flipped in yeileding around a 2800mm EFL. The seeing was so bad that some of the images were not presented here, however a few came out very nice as seen below:
