NGC7023 - The Iris Nebula in Cepheus
with 10" f/3.9 Astrograph
Uploaded 10/15/20
This
amazing region contains both reflection and dark nebulosity in
one unique object. The central reflection nebula colored blue
is NGC7023. In the open "window" on its right side
is a piece of dark sky with the cluster Cr427. Surrounding the
inner blue glow is a much larger dust cloud, faintly illuminated
by the nearby stars in the region. This deep exposure is 1 hour
in length and was with the 10 inch f/3.9. |
