IC1311 Open Cluster in Cygnus
with 10" f/3.9 Astrograph
Uploaded 11/14/20
This
gem of a cluster I found near the center of Cygnus, near Gamma
Cygni. It is 9 arc mins in size and a very faint 13th magnitude.
The richness of this cluster plus how nicely the huge amount
of dust in this constellation changes the colors to a yellow
tint, makes this a great imaging target! As a bonus, the background
is filled with a faint red emission nebulosity. The whole field
is full of multi colored Milky Way stellar jewels. |
