VDB38 in Orion - The Rasberry Nebula
Emission / Reflection in Orion

This composite nebula
            consists of Sharpless 2-263 for the red emission component, and
            VDB38 which is the blue reflection component. This incredible
            contrast makes it a great astroimaging target. The background
            nebulosity consists of more diffuse red hydrogen on the left,
            and yellow dust on the right. So much going on here!

            
Technical Data: 11"
            f/2.2 RASA astrograph, ASI6200mm + Baader LRGB filters, Integration
            time = 150m total, Happy Jack, Az.
