Sharpless 2-72, 2-71
Emission in Aquilla
Uploaded 1/18/21

This incredibly rich stellar scene was imaged in western Aquilla, and is roughly centered on Sharpless 2-72. Just above is a rich Milkyway star cloud, and to its right is a very obscure but bright PK 36-01.1 planetary nebula also known as Sharpless 2-71. A dense obscured globular cluster NGC6749 appears to its lower left, and a surprise extremely faint planetary nebula - StDr101 discovered only recently is a teal colored sphere in the upper left corner.
