Centered on Sharpless
2-101 the Tulip nebula in central Cygnus, this large field reveals
that east of the Tulip we have wreaths and rings of hydrogen
gas, excited by hot blue stars in the cluster NGC6871 right in
the middle. The right side of this shot is dark due to extensive
dust obscuring the gas from view. Look carefully on the left
side to see a greenish wisp in front of the eastern edge of the
red ring bubble. Thats the Wolf-Rayet star WR132, one of the
most challenging targets to shoot in the northern sky.
