From Antares to Rho Ophiuchi
First official image with the Samyang 135mm f/2 lens
Uploaded 7/25/24

Here is our deepsest shot yet of the Antares to Rho area from our dark observatory site in Happy Jack Arizona. This is a combination of two 1 hour sets, one was a standard RGB with a IR/UV blocker and OSC camera, and the second a 1 hour set with the new IDAS NBZ 2 filter. Both were combined to yeild this deep shot. This is our first official image with our new Samyang 135mm f/2 lens. Previous testing showed that by stopping it down half a stop to f/2.4 and adding a Baader UV/IR blocker in the ZWO filter drawer stars were nearly perfect right to the corners. Data: 135mm f/2.4, 1h with UV/IR + 1h with IDAS NBZ mark II filter. ASI071MC CMOS.
