NGC7538 in Cepheus
Emission nebula shaped like a Mammal like reptile footprint

This
interesting complex of nebulosity is centered on NGC7538 a 10
arc minute emission nebula with complex inner structure. Sharpless
1-59 is the small red patch to the lower left, and the general
red glow on the left side is associated with the Bubble nebula
nearby. |
Instrument: 10" f/3.9 Orion Astrograph Newtonian with Baader MPCC
Mount: Astrophysics 1200 QMD
Camera: ZWO ASI071MC Pro Color CMOS
Guider: ZWO ASI mini w/80mm piggyback refractor
Exposure: 85m ( 5 min subs)
Location: Payson, Arizona, Elevation: 5150 ft.
Sky: Seeing FWHM = 2 arcsec , Transparency 9/10
Outside Temperature: 55 F
