Testing the IDAS NBZ Mark 2 at Happy Jack
NGC7000 in Cygnus
Stellarvue SV80 f/6 Astrograph
Uploaded 12/8/23
Here
is another image with the brand new IDAS NBZ mark 2 filter, on
a subject we have a good familiarity with as far as color shades
- NGC7000. The nebula reproduced here in the correct shades of
pink and reds, with very little color balancing required to finish
the processing. Designed specifically for all f/ ratio systems
from f/1.8 on up, this filter is intended to be used with OSC
cameras and passes two bands - a 10nm Halpha, and 8nm OIII. I
think at this point in the testing, this filter will be the first
to try out at our super dark sky site in Happy Jack with the
RASA 8 we are getting arrives in January. We will keep evaluating
this new filter and show you the results as they come in! Technical
