The M16 Eagle Nebula Deep Field
Stellarvue SV80 f/6 Astrograph
Uploaded 11/12/21

We did not expect the entire field here to be literally covered in glowing hydrogen. There are almost no dark backgrounds here to set the low end of the histogram to, however some of the dark globules worked well. M16 is the nebula in the center, and glows with a more pink coloration due to higher levels of OIII and Hbeta lines. You can just see the tiny "Star Queen" in the center of this bright portion as a dark outline. Several Sharpless nebula appear also in this field, along with a few star clusters indicated on the key I've provided below for identification.
