The Lobster Claw and Bubble Nebulas
Emission nebulas in Cepheus
Uploaded 8/21/25

One of the most beautifully structured nebula in the sky, the Lobster Claw nebula (Sh2-157/LBN540) in Cepheus has striking dark details across its entire face. Note the interesting "Linear" star cluster NGC7510 on its right edge. Upper left is the Bubble Nebula which is enclosed in a large nebulous glow called Sh2-161. Top center is the small but extremely detailed NGC7538. Finally, two small but intruiging nebulous spots on the right side are IC1470 and Sh2-156.
