Sharpless 2-129, Barnard 150, NGC6946, NGC6939
Wide field around the Sea horse nebula in Cepheus
Uploaded 9/6/25

This wide field includes Sharpless 2-129 the Flying Bat Nebula on the left which contains inside of it the elusive and highly sought after Squid Nebula OU4. Dead center is B150 the Sea Horse nebula. To thier right the dual pair of NGC6946 face on obscured galaxy and NGC6939 star cluster. The entire field is filled with yellow and brownish dust and only a few spots are actually clear. Take note on the dust which covers NGC6946: while it is dusty, it is certainly not within the densest dust clouds in this area.
