Barnard 150, NGC6946, NGC6939
Dark Nebula, Galaxy, Open cluster in Cepheus
Uploaded 2/12/25

This deep field is covered with tawny dust. On the left is the Seahorse nebula - Barnard 150. You can see it is merely a denser concentration of this localized dust cloud. On the right are two remarkable objects, also immersed in the foreground dust. The galaxy NGC6946 is a beautiful spiral and is dimmed considerably by the dust, and yellowed as well. Above it is the dense cluster NGC6939 complete with golden and blue supergiants. So much going on here.
