NGC6188 The Ara Nebula (AKA "Fighting Dragons")

I have
            been trying to shoot this composition for over 30 years now -
            and usually ended up with trees, power poles or washed out with
            skyglow creating havoc with the attempt. Finally, by tracking
            the exposure during the excursion across a small gap in the pine
            trees south of my second story balcony I was able to get an unobstructed
            clean shot of this celestial splendor. Known as the "Fighting
            Dragons Nebula" in Ara.  NGC6188 is a splendid emission
            object illuminated by the hot blue stars in NGC6193 open cluster
            inside. My careful framing here includes two rich star clusters
            in opposing corners completing the composition.
