Moon Rising Over the Colorado Plateau
View
from Smoky Payson
Uploaded 2/12/06
There
was plenty of smoke in the air over Payson today, the entire
sky in fact was covered with a dense layer. The east was the
only clear part of the sky, so when we found out that the moon
rose only 15 minutes before the sunset, opportunity knocked!
Look carefully at the moons image in the hi res versions, and
you can see differential refraction. |
