Purpose:
To increase the saturation of deep sky images about 30 percent in the upper 75% of the brightness range, while attenuating the saturation of the background to lessen color noise and color gradients.
Directions for use:
Run this on the image before you have done any saturation adustments, but do adjust the colors to be correct first - i.e. neutral background, proper combine ratios on color data, etc.
